4th Graduation Day 2026
The 4th Graduation Day of Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology (SVCET) was successfully held on July 17, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. at the Sai Auditorium of the college. Graduates from the academic years 2019–2023 and 2020–2024, MBA 2022-2024 batch participated in the ceremony and received their degrees.
The function was presided over by the Chairman of the educational group, Shri. B. Ramachandran. The event was graced by the presence of Founder Chairperson Smt. Radha Ramachandran, Managing Director Shri. A. R. Rajiv Krishna, Executive Director Smt. Moushmi Rajiv, Chief Operating Officer Dr. B. Vidhya, and General Manager Dr. A. Soundararajan.
The distinguished chief guest for the occasion was Shri. V. Nandhakumar IRS Commisioner of Income Tax, Ministry of Finance, Govt. Of Inida.
The Principal of the college, Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan, Vice-Principal Dr. K. B. Jayaraman, Dean Dr. N. Balaji, IQAC Dean Dr. V. Nagaraj, Heads of Departments, and the graduates, all adorned in academic robes, were formally received in a grand academic procession. The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries.The Chairman, Shri. B. Ramachandran, warmly greeted the chief guests and all attendees. More than 250 students from various technical disciplines were awarded their degrees during the ceremony.
In his address, the chief guest emphasized that graduates should make the best use of available opportunities and contribute to the advancement of emerging technologies. He also encouraged students to play a vital role in societal development and highlighted that education, hard work, and determination are essential for building a successful future.
Subsequently, the Principal, Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan, presented the Annual Report, outlining the academic achievements and progress of the institution during the respective academic years. The graduation pledge was administered by the Vice-Principal, Dr. K. B. Jayarraman, and all graduating students solemnly took the oath.
A presentation of the college’s annual report was also showcased during the event. Dr. B. Magimai Raj, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, coordinated the programme effectively and delivered the vote of thanks. Following the lunch break, an Alumni Meet 2026 was organized for the College’s former students. All the graduates actively participated in the event with great enthusiasm. The Alumni Meet was successfully arranged by Mr. S. Balaji, Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
